Thank you guys for helping out!!!!
We had a very successful sewing party today!!! Thank you to Maddie Winchester, Emily Sager, Allison Crook, and Elizabeth Cantrell for coming to help sew and cut fabric!!! I want to have at LEAST fifty bags done before I start to sell them, and we got a lot done today!
Update: 37 bags total but only 24 of them completely finished and ready.
Ways you can help: Attending sewing parties of course! Also any donation of fabric, thread, or velcro is very appreciated. And of course I will always be accepting direct donations for the children of Hogar de Vida.
Thank you guys for your support!
Dios te bendiga!!!! (God bless you)

Sewing Parties!!
In Lima Peru, there is a home for mothers and their children suffering with AIDS. Its called Hogar de Vida (Place of Life). The mothers in this home make their living sewing bags and selling them to the people. However the woman who started this home, Hermana Ruth, is struggling financially to keep it running. There is no guarantee everyone will get a good amount of food and they can't get the right medication they need.
Bolsitas de Vida, was created for Hermana Ruth and the women and children of Hogar de Vida. All of the proceeds from each of our little bags is going to Hogar de Vida. We're bringing their work to the United States.

Right now, I'm focusing on sewing the bags. I want to sew at LEAST fifty before i start to sell. BUT! I need your help!! I'm having sewing parties where anyone who wants to come can head to my house and help out! If you don't know how to sew that's okay! I need help cutting fabric too!
It's a great time to help out and for fellowship :)
I'm having one of these sewing parties after school tomorrow!! So please come on by!
